One of the most recognizable Metal albums from the 00s. Even if it's very samey throughout its runtime, almost every song delivers punch after punch. I just wish the production was thicker.
One of the most influential groove metal albums of all time. These songs just slap you in the face and then beat you with a brick. They’re heavy, fast, and groovy. As The Palaces Burn is still better imo, but this is an amazing follow up album.
This album is brutal and awesome. The riffs are heavy as fuck and also groovy. Randy Blythe vocals come in ferociously and filled with power. Everything goes together nicely and brutally.
