[Genre: Electro House]

This album is just a straight groove beginning to end. Justice's "†" is an infectious, heavy and incredibly crisp Electro House album that is bound to keep you dancing throughout. The production on this thing is just excellent; the synths are cinematic, the vocal samples gives it even more flavour and the mixing is at times pretty unorthodox and really makes the music even punchier than it already was (especially the way the vocal samples on Newjack are ... read more
Justice's debut is hard as fuck music to shake your butthole to. While there are a couple of cuts that could've been left out, the rest of it is well-produced, punchy and infectious French House music.

Through a mostly enjoyable set of funk-flavored dance tracks, Justice released one of the more progressive electronic records of the 2000's. But aside from that, there is not too much that makes Justice stand out from the many other house acts from all over the world. The high points of † are impressive, but the rest of the album is pretty mediocre.
