Daydream Nation could lose out to Purple Rain or something, I guess.

Definitely need to redo the 1970s/1980s/1990s album lists now that the 1960s and 2000s have had very comprehensive lists of 200 albums. The earlier Pitchfork lists were a little too unfriendly towards mainstream music. Some inexplicable omissions from the 70s Top 100 list included Born To Run and Horses, for example. Plus, the "woke" sentiment expressed in a lot of Pitchfork's re-evaluation of older music will come into play.
