This is in so many ways wrong. Respect some of the choices, but the way some of em are ranked I disagree with greatly.

yes because any lady gaga album is better than every Run The Jewels album, Big Fish Theory, Ignorance Is Bliss, WGIFH...TY4YS, and Deltron 3030. and those are only rap albums, i could go more into depth

@MusicGod it depends

if the album is "the fame", then yes

This list was pretty trash ngl.

It's very obvious what kind of artists The Guardian likes....and there are so many undeserved multiples, it comes across as a self contained thing instead of an actual account of the best of the decade

Not sure how I feel about that number one. Definitely a strong record but the best of the last 20 years?? Detach it from the singer’s backstory and it’s kinda just well-performed jukebox revival. I get that it’s The Guardian so they have to hype a British artist but sheesh...

AMY WINEHOUSE OVER KID A??????????????????????????????????????
September 14, 2019
I love Back to Black, but number 1, C’mon

I'm quite surprised Laura Marling didn't make on their list considering how much praise The Guardian gave to her album, after album.
But, very satisfied to see both Grimes album up there, although Art Angels should've been way higher.

i mean its the guardian, so its expected to be trash taste
September 14, 2019
This list is a total fall, and Amy Winehouse at # 1 is a total misunderstanding.
September 14, 2019
Useless clickbait.
September 14, 2019
funny
September 15, 2019
Funny how this list doesn't match their own scores
September 15, 2019
terrible as always, terrible magazine
September 16, 2019
A list put together by PR companies, most likely doesn't represent the tastes of the Guardian's journalists and critics, just another means of advertising
September 16, 2019
I mean, I enjoy Back to Black, but number one? Jesus
