Here's a novel idea: How about ditch the sub-par compressed music RENTAL services altogether, and actually BUY the FLAC-quality DRM-free music directly from the artist (or their label).

Or better idea, support physical copies and contributing to independent stores. Streaming may be popular, but the royalties for streaming services are terribly neglected and the audio quality is inconsistent.
At least you physically own a copy and have the freedom to utilise quality control (WAV, FLAC files etc.) rather than overlying on third-party services dictating what you can and can't have.
