one of the most promising artists in not only the uk underground but the underground as a whole
review #100!
decided to review this one for my 100th review. i have a ton of nostalgic memories attached to this. it was one of the very first albums i completely fell in love with, and was maybe even my gateway into music as a whole (viewing it in the way i do now at least) i honestly cant describe how i feel when i listen to this, weird specific memories start flooding in when i hear certain parts of songs or certain notes hit.
oh i DEFINITELY enjoyed this more the second time. im a big fan of yeezus, so it makes sense that i also like this. every time i think i understand this album, im completely blind sided by the next track; you never really know what to expect in the following seconds of any part of this album. im expecting this to grow on me more each listen, this was seriously so good. definitely gonna revisit exmilitary soon.
this is was my first kanye album, and the one most people point to as being kanye's best - 'he made graduation!", probably because this thing is the perfect fusion of pop and rap, making it the most listenable album ever if that makes any sense. its got an amazing rap performance from kanye on almost every track (fuck drunk and hot girls), and the feature choices are perfect and add a lot to the tracks. its kanye west, the production is of course beautiful, and the playability of ... read more
look its GOOD but we need to stop the kendrick glazing. #2 best album of all time? like out of all the albums? cmon
based off how they started, you wouldnt imagine that radiohead would go on to release some of the most groundbreaking music ever
its overhated imo. its not GOOD but it has its moments. i did expect more from uzi on this one :'(
thought i already reviewed this. honestly its one of his weaker albums and it was a pretty long listen. definitely some gems in there tho
ive never actually listened to this album officially until now, i listened to it when it leaked (i dont remember fully or partly) in i think december 2022 and for some reason never revisited. this is obviously yachty's most artistic album by far and its definitely worth a listen. it was mostly very good but for some reason i dont see myself revisiting this all that often.
im actually addicted to listening to this
this album FEELS like a mixtape which is unfortunate. despite it just being a trap/rage album, theres really no artistic level in terms of sequencing in the album which is disappointing, especially after it being so highly anticipated with 4+ years in the making (although it could never have lived up to the hype). im grateful that there is so many songs on this, but at the same time it does hinder the overall experience as an album. i keep telling ... read more
honestly i can see this rating increasing because i enjoyed this a lot
