Not including the Teal Album because I don't count cover albums

Weezer - Weezer (Blue Album)

It's the Blue Album. It's perfect. It has the consistency of Pinkerton with the high points of the Red Album. I have a huge appreciation for every song here. The World Has Turned & Left Me Here was the first Weezer song I heard, so I will always hold it especially close to my heart for that reason, despite stuff like Undone and Only In Dreams being objectively better songs.

Favorite track: The World Has Turned & Left Me Here

I doubt many people would place this so high, but I've always been one to defend the Red Album. It's a trashy project, but it feels like it was made with genuine effort. Half of the songs here I have an ironic enjoyment of (Troublemaker, Everybody Get Dangerous, Thought I Knew, Cold Dark World, Automatic) and the other half I have an unironic enjoyment of (The Greatest Man That Ever Lived, Pork & Beans, Heart Songs, Dreamin', The Angel & The One).

Favorite track: The Angel & The One
Weezer - Maladroit

Here's the obligatory "Maladroit is underrated" statement: Maladroit is underrated. There are a couple of clunkers here and there (especially near the beginning and end) which stop this from being even higher, but the middle stretch of this album is stunning.

Favorite track: Space Rock
Weezer - Pinkerton

Ah yes, Pinkerton. It's iconic, it's a classic, it's extremely consistent. Every song here is an absolute banger, but surprisingly, there isn't really anything among my absolute favorites from the band.

Favorite track: Pink Triangle (it changes all the time, though)
Weezer - Everything Will Be Alright in the End

Again, I don't really have anything to say. It's just a really good album.

Favorite track: The Futurescope Trilogy
Weezer - OK Human

One of the smartest Weezer albums in years, and one of the only ones that you can say that you like without people judging you.

Favorite track: La Brea Tar Pits
Weezer - Van Weezer
7.
76
It's pretty good. I don't have much to say.

Favorite track: The Beginning Of The End
Weezer - Hurley
8.

Extremely inconsistent. There are masterpieces like Ruling Me, Trainwrecks and Unspoken, but also disasterpieces like Run Away, Smart Girls and Time Flies.

Favorite track: Unspoken
Weezer - Weezer (Green Album)

Very frontloaded. In the second half it becomes a lot less memorable and a lot more boring. It's also a noticeable step down from their first two albums.

Favorite track: Knockdown Dragout
Weezer - Raditude

Don't get me wrong, this album SUCKS. I am not scoring it so high because it's good. I'm scoring it this high because it's so hilariously awful that it's impossible for me to hate it. As garbage as it is, it feels earnest and like an honest effort, which weirdly gives it a lot of charm.

Favorite track: Put Me Back Together
Weezer - Pacific Daydream

It's good. Not nearly as awful as everyone says. Unfortunately, it also has very few big standouts, despite being so consistent.

Favorite track: Mexican Fender
Weezer - Weezer (White Album)

Never understood the hype over this one, even if I do love Endless Bummer.

Favorite track: Endless Bummer
Weezer - Weezer (Black Album)

There are a couple tracks here I really like (Zombie Bastards and Piece Of Cake, and I guess I'm Just Being Honest is good too) but everything else kind of blends together into forgettable slop.

Favorite track: Zombie Bastards
Weezer - Make Believe

Aside from Hold Me and Haunt You Every Day being two of the actual best Weezer songs ever, Make Believe is a slog of forgettable, boring nothing-rock.

Favorite track: Haunt You Every Day
