The third studio album by American pop-punk band blink-182, this marked the first album of theirs consisting of drummer Travis Barker, and is a massive improvement of what was already a strong sophomore album. Now, the first three tracks I’m not that big into. Dumpweed I recognise as a great song, but I can’t really get into it as an album opener. Don’t leave me is another one that I recognise as great, but can’t properly get into. And then aliens exist is, in my ... read more

The fourth studio album by the British indie rock band Bloc party, this is their last last album featuring bassist Gordon Moakes and drummer Matt Tong. Now, first things first, this album slaps. The worst track in my opinion is the opener so he begins to lie, but even then I still really enjoy it. 3x3 is another good track, however I still don’t think it is great. Octopus is where it really picks up however, it has really good drumming from Matt Tong and shows off some pretty impressive ... read more

The seventh studio album by the American rock band Weezer, I believe this is their worst album. Ok, now what I liked. I think the opening track, (if you’re wondering if I want you to) I want you to, is pretty good. Has some catchy elements, and is a pretty good, maybe even great song. The second studio album by the American pop punk band paramore, this is much better than their very lacklustre debut. Now, some of the tracks on here are incredible. For a pessimist, I’m pretty optimistic is one of the greatest tracks that the band ever wrote. That’s what you get is probably my favourite on the record, I think they manage to do everything right in that track, and is one of Hayley Williams best vocal performances. Misery business is an iconic pop punk song that ... read more

The sixth studio album by the American rock band Weezer, this honestly caught me off guard with how good some of the songs were. The album starts with the track troublemaker, which really isn’t great, but it is still not bad, I like the instrumental. The greatest man that ever lived is one of the greatest ever Weezer tracks. The amount of risks taken in the song, the amount of styles it covers, it is mesmerising and an incredible track. Pork and beans is the song that got me into Weezer, ... read more
