The debut album by the English rock band Muse, I personally feel it is their most underrated effort. The album has some incredible tracks, from sunburn to Uno, almost every track sounds brilliant. I like how despite it being their debut, they had already figured their sound, and Matt Bellamys vocals are almost the best they are on any muse record. That’s not forgetting the incredible bass work from Chris Wolfstenholme and some brilliant drumming from Dominic Howard. Despite how great I think the album is, it is far from flawless. The song unintended I don’t really like, falling down is pretty middle of the road, and I’m not a fan of the slower moments, they don’t seem to match the album, and are the worst on the record by far. Overall, a flawed effort, but it still had some highlights. I feel this is the most overlooked album in their discography, and it has some of the bands greatest songs.
