To me, Melt My Eyez, See Your Future seems similar to Ta13oo, which, up until now was my Zeltron's favorite album. Both albums excel lyrically, however, in the years in between those two releases, Denzel has matured, and it shows in songs like Walkin', where Zel is moving forward no matter what. In addition, the album has a more chill musical aspect than his previous work, which I like in the conscious hip hop genre, e.g. TPAB (Not to compare Melt My Eyez and TPAB).
A fun soul/r&b ride with an excellent musicianship in addition. Bruno and Anderson really found each other lol.
An essential rap album to listen, one of the defining albums of the genre. The best album of 2021.
