Sometimes, the songs just have to slap. Sometimes, a good groove is all you need. Me Chama de Gate Que Eu Sou Sua is a wonderful little record. Funky, well-produced and simple, this album is inoffensive, yes, but it doesn't need to be anything more. I will say, I found the middle stretch of the record a little slow in parts, and I wish that there was little more variety.
