Some beats continue to slap and sound new, Travis continues with the same formula and this means that, comparing this project with his previous one, we see the differences more exaggerated. The production and originality does not surpass that of their previous album, in fact it remains a bit stagnant and only manages to achieve something truly refreshing or new in some songs. The majesty and power of this album and its direct and explosive sound make it special and unique within the genre, whether for its catchy melodies and resources or for the incredible and immortal riffs on the project. An album that will not die, an album with 12 great and diverse tracks that will remind us of one of the best stages of the group, the black album will always be there to destroy everything.

The duo still have original and creative ideas, fusing genres and sounds of many types, creating memorable songs and others that are quite average. The lyrics in some songs are really good, but in others not so much, and the same goes for the vocal performance (which has been improving a lot). They have more power, more depth and more variety in the project. Yeah, this is something else.

Vessel finally offers the band a decent production and a more elaborate development of ideas, having really good songs and others... Not so much. They continue to use electronic elements in their songs, original ideas and resources and good lyrics, although many songs can become boring, simple or simply predictable. Little by little, twenty one pilots continue to improve and advance.

I think the only good thing I find in this album is the originality of some ideas and their authenticity, but that doesn't come close to forgiving the horrible production, elements like autotune or very poorly worked and tacky synths and very stupid lyrics in several songs. It has some good points, but the execution of the ideas is pretty lousy.

Hail the Sun finds an explosive and beautiful way to show suffering through very melodic progressive metal.
A unique and heartbreaking voice accompanied by virtuoso and dynamic instrumentals that give it a personal and tremendous sound, without losing its beauty and melancholy. Each of the tracks feels like a different adventure from the other, without a doubt a great project.

Simulation Theory improves in what Drones and The 2nd Law screwed up more. They look for more original and different elements, creating truly compact fusions of the new aesthetic with their epic sound, and on the other hand they continue making some filler songs with boring structures and ideas that add nothing to the album.

Muse creates a well-crafted sonic journey within what is the dismal and boring level of songwriting and creativity for most of the album. Tracks like Supremacy, Animals and little else feel powerful and truly epic or simply very good, the others are attempts at new sounds and slings that they have not managed to carry out in a good way. Muse, as much as some sections are very well arranged and performed, continues to deteriorate its career little by little.

The short tracklist and the little variety of ideas and little dynamics within the album make this album always difficult for me to listen to, but at the same time I find many ambiental and interesting songs. It is not as big or unique as the band's other great projects, but it has its particular concept and aura that, although it turns off many listeners, gives personality to the LP.
