Helmet - Meantime
80

This album is often credited as being one of the key influences of Nu-Metal, and its pretty easy to tell why when you listen to it. Funny enough, as much as Nu-Metal (and Nu-Metal adjacent stuff) can be kinda hit or miss for me, I enjoyed this quite a bit. It's raw and very heavy.

Kendrick Lamar - To Pimp a Butterfly
100

There's no point in going into why I think this album is a 100, just read the other thousands of perfect ratings.

Fugazi - Repeater
85

Fugazi was ahead of the curve with this album, and it still sounds great today.

Swervedriver - Mezcal Head
90

Massively underrated and underappreciated. This album is a fantastic mix of Grunge and Shoegaze, and every song hits like a truck. Duel is one of my personal favourite songs of all time.

Deftones - Diamond Eyes
85

I was expecting it to be good, but damn. I liked this a lot.

Temple of the Dog - Temple of the Dog
80

I wasn't in love with every track on this album, but some of these tracks are monumental. RIP Chris for real.

Olivia Rodrigo - GUTS
80

This album is underrated, but that doesn't suprise me. Some people are quick to dismiss this album (and current-day pop music as a whole) but in 10 years we are all gonna be looking at this and going "wow I wish pop music was still like this, it's all shit nowadays".

Caroline Polachek - Desire, I Want to Turn Into You
80

I've kinda been ignoring this album since it came out. I'm glad I came to my senses.

Foo Fighters - Foo Fighters
80

This and The Colour and the Shape are underrated. This album is full of great tracks. It looses a bit of steam in the second half for sure, but there is no bad song on this album.

Passion Pit - Manners
85

This album is just so much fun to listen to.

Also, Sleepyhead and The Reeling are here so it definitely deserves a high rating

Lauryn Hill - The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill
90

Omg track 3 is a drake reference

Pantera - Far Beyond Driven
80

Cover matches the music

Alexisonfire - Crisis
85

This band makes me very proud to be from Niagara.

Paramore - This Is Why
80

I love seeing popular artists still making great rock music

The Smashing Pumpkins - Gish
85

It's definitely not as great as Siamese Dream or Mellon Collie, but those are both very high bars. This album is underrated.

Queens of the Stone Age - Era Vulgaris
80

This album is very underrated

The Strokes - Room on Fire
95

Idk about everyone else but I think this is just as good as the debut.

Edit: Actually, it's better.

Soundgarden - Down on the Upside
80

Yea, Badmotorfinger and Superunknown smash the shit outta this, BUT... That doesn't make this a bad album. honestly, I think it's still one on their better ones. Every one of the first 7 tracks are fantastic. Quality does drop off a bit in the second half, but there's never anything less than "good".

Alice in Chains - Facelift
80

Yet another great debut to add to my list of great debuts

Nirvana - In Utero
90

Shits so raw Imma get salmonella
