Greatest jam of rock history
This album is surely a eccentric one comparing to other rock projects. Funky beats and psychedelic sounds fills the album, while being loyal to Post-Punk's shape. As a result, This album contains a delightful jam which is hard to find on other rock albums, while the despair and dismal(what we usually find on Post-Punk albums) remain still, resulting a contradiction which maximizes the eeire & satire atmosphere of the album.

What vision did they have
Containing a futuristic, but classic Sci-Fi in a Hip Hop album is beyond genius. Nobody tried this union, but they not only tried but made a masterpiece that will live forever.
The world of this album, the idea, production, lyrics, skits- everything works perfectly and meshes like a cogwheel. No other album constructs such atmosphere like this, Deltron 3030 is surely a irreplaceable album in music history, and I am happy to find and enjoy this masterpiece.

So that's why u didn't sort em out?
Clipse's Let God Sort Em Out has one of the best beats of this century. They are powerful, polished, menacing, and sometimes moving. Clipse takes a grand trip above these beats. Taking win after win, they slashes down every negative things(whatever it is) and shines like a diamond.
...Until track 6. After that, I felt like they are running out of fuel, the beats became not only repetitive but also declined in terms of quality. The power and ... read more
Was looking for NIN's song๐
A well made Post-Punk project with enjoyable psychedelic, but barren electronic elements; it makes the experience a bit fun while being somewhat apocalyptic.
Basically this album has very high lows, but the highs are not that high. Decades pulls up the level of the album, but it wasn't enough. Having high lows are great, but I like albums which has lots of memorable highlights even if the rest of the album are not very good, but this is not the one. ... read more
The place where everything started
Ah, yes. One of the biggest 'certified mu/rym/aoty/fantano classic'. These type of things effect me between in two ways. Either making me extremely annoying; not only the terrible experience but those braindead helpless fanatics spamming praise everywhere, or it proves the quality and makes me happy. Thankfully, this time it falls under the latter.
This could be called as the textbook of Experimental/Industrial Hip Hop. The basic structure of the ... read more
Goodbye to my biggest nostalgia, and goodbye to the greatest story of all music projects
Yes, we finally made through the end. Was the wait worth? Of course. twenty one pilot's best talent is about their creative genre blending, and they did a great job without getting out of bounds.
Due to the first two singles and Tally's leak, I expected this album to be very punky and indietronic, but the album was much more calm than I thought, and that's why I was a bit disappointed at ... read more
Their victory lap
A compact, powerful, chaotic, and critical project. Their previous project, The Powers That B was filled with glitch/rock elements, but this time they stuffed their album with electronic, industrial materials and it really worked. Every track has its unique moments, while not only being consumed as a mere showcase of elements and having completion.
Although I do not think this is their best project, and some parts being saggy, this is still a masterpiece and should be ... read more
One of the most devastating funerals of all time
It took me numerous listens to understand this album. I still remember my first experience to this album, which was a total bullshit with overly complicated mess. I seen a lot of people having a same experience with me, and I think this is because the essential kicks were hidden inside the abstruse production.
However, once I got those kicks, the abstruse mess tethered to a single stream, and became a wonderful experience overall. Hidden but ... read more
Destroy everything and dance above their wreckage
Easily their best. This album has the perfect trinity of Rock, Hip Hop and Electronica. Inside the storm of pure insanity this album provides, I was overwhelmed and had to enjoy. Despite the first disk kinda being deadweight, Jenny Death carried the entire album. If this disk came alone, it would've been one of the best Hip Hop/Rock albums of all time. Plus I must mention On GP, this is just the GOAT of all Hip Hop tracks.

Why are we still here... just to suffer? ahh album
Build a world. A world that is immeasurably harsh, futile, and doomed. These guys are living in this pitiful, but very exquisite world, and they are now inviting us to this world, just to knead us in their hands.
Every track is differentiated to each other, while being connected superbly. The production and the lyricism overwhelmes us and make us drown in the ocean of despair. I feel much more about this album but cannot describe properly. ... read more
Full package... with a massive hole?
Beach House's most highest rated album in AOTY, Bloom surely is worth to be the highest rated album. Every element makes the album very psychedelic, while being very full and impactful.
However, this album also imitates the problem they always had. I do not have much thing to say about their projects because their projects are monotonous comparing to other projects; which results the full album being a bit forgettable despite the individual tracks ... read more
Different. Just Different.
There are lots of albums that its production shines.
There are lots of albums that its lyricism shines.
There are lots of albums that its singing shines.
But an album with all those three shining? I can't tell many, but Javelin by Sufjan Stevens is definitely one of them.
This album builds an atmosphere which is very independent comparing to other albums. The production fulfilled its psychedelic mood, the lyricism fulfilled its despairing and ardent heart, and ... read more
50TH REVIEW!!!!!!๐ฅณ๐ฅณ๐ฅณ
Scraped not only horizon, but everything
From a random rubbish youtube rapper to this point. After his massive musical success in 2021(and 2024 with a mixtape), Quadeca returned with his 4th LP: Vanisher, Horizon Scraper. This album had the hype I've never seen before, and boom. Quadeca continues his streak with a diverse, plentiful and gorgeous project.
This album contains a lot of elements, Folk, Pop, Rock, Electronic... and successfully blends those ... read more
Phenomenal concept and ideas, but at end, the final execution is...
Shallow. Despite Tyler making a very consistent, catchy, and elaborate world in this album, I always felt that something is blocking me being completely obsessed with this.
Before the review starts: As you see the high score I gave, this review is about why this album is not in the 'GOAT' level, which means the review makes a premise that the album is basically great.
IGOR by Tyler, the Creator is basically filled ... read more
"Youtubers can't make good music"
Well actually, I never heard about Quadeca til Scrapyard, so I technically don't recognize him as a youtuber. Anyways, this is a suprising, beautiful project, and the best folktronica album of all time(that I heard).
Almost everything is perfectly executed on this album, the theme, production... Especially the combination of genres are wonderful, I think this is his strongest ability.
One thing short is the vocals tho, it sometimes become ... read more
God's journey
Before I started AOTY, I never knew these kind of music existed, and I never thought about listening a full album; especially a hour and a half with 20+- min ass tracks. And now I am here. Listening over 5 times fully, I now could say: This is one of the best albums of all time.
Before starting the review, I want to thank Vampire Weekend: which made me start to dig indie, obscure music.

Massive production, and massive... nvm
I am not a big fan of Black Midi, and I really didn't expect anything from Geordie Greep. Holy Holy was gorgeous and probably SOTY, but still, I didn't expect that much from him.
But yeah, bro stood up and released an AOTY material. Actually I don't know, I am conflicted between this and Sky Hundred, therefore these 2 album's score could change anytime.
There are many albums which are phenomenal. They have their own style and ... read more

I really didn't expect myself reviewing this, especially before Greep and GYBE. I didn't even know these guy's existence before.
I don't have much to say; this is just a brilliant metal project. Powerful and melodic, while controlling the tempo quite perfect, preventing the project becoming a mere earrape. Also they didn't forget to make highlights, preventing the project being forgettable. A beautiful death metal project overall, def worth ... read more
I will never know why I forgor to review
After VDC, Sweet Trip came back in 2009. The difference between VDC and this is that this became less abstract and unbalanced. Reducing IDM sounds and Shoegaze, alternating with more Psychedelic sounds. This has some pros and cons. This choice really settled the imbalance that they had at VDC. YWNKY acquired unity between tracks, and as a result, the entire project became much more consistent and cruising.
But this doesn't mean it has completely ... read more
Topfull, really topfull, but...
I've heard Beach House's best projects recently, and I could call this the most underrated one at least. This album's psychedelic level is at an another level. The entire album is loaded with harmonious sounds, while expressing emotions and unique atmospheres with special elements like drums. Also, the experience of tracks carry over to the next one, which makes listeners sink into the album even more.
But the problem is: how. Beach House ... read more
