Ye what? At least Bully deluxe is coming.
In all honesty, it's not HORRIBLE, I like the flutes and horns, but it's barely even a song, it's just a really horrible verse about Ye's kinks being looped, and it's completely drumless. I do not want to see this on the deluxe at all.

Title: The Mountain
Artist: Gorillaz
Once again like I have said in only certain few reviews, this album feels like one of few albums this year to genuinely feel like music, like it has a heart, and has that soul, actually inspiring music.
Production feels electric and precise, yet also spiritual and ethereal.
The album manages to get the "after-life" and "mourning" persona sonically well, and matches it exactlly as it should be.

Title: THIS MUSIC MAY CONTAIN HOPE
Artist: RAYE
The album is very strong structurally, using a mix of orchestral sound and digital sound and letting it just sit together to form this album's story-telling identity.
The album sounds free-flowing and as if it has space to breathe, it isn't confined, but sometimes it goes a bit too out of bounds, and not in the best ways, like some elements within a song stretching too far that it doesn't ... read more
All timer album, and probably the best debut album to release for an artist. Still not the best in this incredible trilogy however.

Title: BULLY
Artist: Ye (Kanye West)
BULLY is one of very few albums this year that feels like it has genuine soul, and genuinely feels like music, like it could have been released in 2016 or 2018. The genuine quality that the majority of the songs have are incredible, though are dented due to it's flaws - most notably the very incomplete final third of the album (track 13 to track 18), and songs being too short.
The features do their ... read more
At first the music video just looks like it was written whilst Bianca was high or something, but all those breakdown videos I've seen on tt and YouTube and insta and so on really makes this seem like the most innovative and creative music videos this year, and even when you don't understand it's still enjoyable because it creates curiosity.

Title: EXPERIMENTAL RAP
Artist: JPEGMAFIA
I have very mixed feelings about this album, I know it's meant to intentionally sound annoying, intense, messy, chaotic, uncomfortable, and a difficult listen for the listener, but it also feels like it tries to gravitate into purposely being a mess and trying to be experimental rather than trying to make good music (not trying to say the album's bad).

Title: Wave Gods 2: Cosmos Brothers
Artists: French Montana, Max B
Theres no way you can make music this bad, I genuinely gave up after Just a Lil Bit.
Also Unlocked got butchered compared to the OG version, as soon as I found out Ye gave the song to French and Max B I knew it was over, and I was right. But of course Ye carries.

Title: THE SECOND COMING
Artist: Hass
This is a great album production wise, but the one thing that brings this album down so much is some of Hass' vocal performances. I'm not saying it's all bad, but some are great flow-wise and others just feel sloppy. Also a lot of very bad mixing on Hass again.
One of the most anticipated Ye unreleased got absolutely bum 🍇ed by French Montana 😭. Ye carries hard but this didn't need to release since THIS A MUST already uses elements of the same production and KING uses the Kelly Price line.
Really underwhelming project, definitely Kendrick's worst. I have no idea how this won a grammy when it's just incredibly messy and just a really poorly made album. It's got some aight songs tho.

Title: Icon
Artit: Brent Faiyaz
This project is interesting, every track is completely different to one another, yet still works together to some extent.
Each track is an absolute vibe as well.
Some of it felt a bit underwhelming though, but overall decent project.

Title: Nothing's About to Happen To Me
Artist: Mitski
This isn't really my kind of music but I thoroughly enjoyed the project, with it representing a chaotic mindset, and a musical representation of overthinking, with some really relaxing content too. This project centring Mitski's mindscape and a very one sided conversation to another someone. The project itself doesn't feel like it is for everyone, but for the select amount of ... read more
It's Ye's worst album becuase it is filled with Ye-I and was practically mainly already released as well (among other huge issues), but actually has some decent songs.
Also a pretty pointless release considering:
- TRUE LOVE was already out
- 530 was already out
- SCIFI was already out
- BURN EVERYTHING was already out
- The album was made SPECIFICALLY for the time he divorced with Kim.
It would have been a lot better if Ye had left those songs be and then released some of the ... read more

Project: BULLY (First Pressing)
Artist: Ye
Contrasting to the actual release, which is a great release (though still unfinished and short), this is one of the worst things I've ever heard in my life. It takes all the worst parts of BULLY, slaps a AI Ye voice changer over them, and calls it a day.
WHITE LINES is practically a mash-up of the BULLY V1 version and the release BULLY version, except without the sub-bass on the outro and replacing the Stevie Wonder ... read more

Title: ICEMAN
Artist: Drake
Out of anything in the trilogy (possibly the worst music trilogy of all time), this at least has some value as an album compared to HABIBTI and MAID OF HONOUR.
It feels very inconsistent however, there are some great tracks among these, but some sound incredibly generic, and some of these features are done really badly and if anything, do damage to the songs rather than add to them.
There are also some very strange lyrics ... read more
