As always, Bjork presents us with a another amazing song. as a fan I try not let my love for her take account of my personal opinion about her work, so let's say that this music did not please me 100%. everything is impeccable, but I find the participation of Arca in production unnecessary. the music is light as the wind and the Arca's beats have enough presence that end up breaking the mood of the music. all the arrangements are impeccable and I feel in ecstasy when silence and reverb take over my headphones. for me, '' the gate '' is the gateway to the album, so we fans and music lovers can have a great and quiet trance, since her previous album '' vulnicura '' was heavy and with a very characteristic footprint, reminding me a lot of her third album '' homogenic ''. I hope the whole new album gives me the unique experience that '' the gate '' gives me to listen to.
