alicore's 'Best New Music'

Pitchfork famously has the "Best New Music" designation which is given to a handful of highly-rated albums each year (generally albums rated 8.3+ as far as I can tell). This is a catalogue of albums that I would give a similar designation based off of my rating & enjoyment, going back to January 1, 2016 (as it was some time during that year when I started actively listening to new releases every week)
My ratings skew a bit higher than Pitchfork's, so I'm taking that into account and not including every single thing in the 8.3 - 8.5 range - basically it's arbitrary (but honestly the actual BNM designation is too). Nevertheless there are still a higher number of albums that I find worthy of this than Pitchfork has given lately.
The most recent albums are sorted to the beginning of the list, with preference of the highest rating for each release date there are multiple albums on.
