The energy and passion on this album is the most ever seen from a 50s artist. This album also happens to be insanely important to rock and roll’s creation. Many of the songs on this record have been covered by a lot of musicians. The songs on this album are also just straight up fun and energetic.
This feels like shoegaze but black metal. It’s super atmospheric and goes hard as fuck. The riffs are heavy but they feel weirdly beautiful. The only issue this album faces is not enough variety but it’s a relatively short album so I can kinda excuse it.
This album goes hard as fuck. The riffs, the drumming. I just wanna jump up and start headbanging. It’s so high energy and that energy doesn’t go away during the album’s runtime. The vocals are kinda meh though.
Molotov is Mexican RATM sonically and I love RATM. Tito’s flow is very reminiscent of Zach De La Rocha and the riffs on this album sound similar to RATM. The lyrics don’t stand out on this record in particular and despite some genre changes, it doesn’t feel like it changes sonically often. Despite these setbacks, this is a really good album.
The combination of death metal and electronic elements on this record sounds refreshing and interesting throughout. This album is inconsistent but still filled with absolute bangers like the title track, Salvation Day, and Black Sharks. The looped vocals throughout the songs did sometimes feel redundant. The mixing on this album also isn’t very high quality. Despite these setbacks, this is still an interesting record and I’m excited to see what Angelwarrior Ice does in the future.
green day dropped a better song than the beatles today. i never thought i’d say that in 2023
IM ONLY RATING THE LIVE VERSION
The live version of Cruel Summer on this single is amazing. The studio version of Cruel Summer is already phenomenal and the live version is able to keep an adjacent level of quality while also introducing new things to the song. I really enjoyed the live drums in the live version. It just created a nicer atmosphere than the digital drums did. Taylor’s vocals here take a small dip in quality but that’s true for almost all performers. The recording is ... read more
This is a really great album. Deftones on this album are able to fuse together shoegaze and metal in an amazing way. The guitar riffs on this album are hard-hitting but also feel heavenly. Chino’s vocals are also very powerful and hit hard. The lyrics on this album are also really well written and emotional. The only thing that holds this album back are some songs feeling like they could be more (MX, Damone)

Grace is one of the most beloved and acclaimed albums ever made and it’s not hard to see why while listening. Buckley’s use of vivid imagery throughout this album is absolutely phenomenal and helps tell amazing stories. Jeff’s voice is also superb with a very high range. There are songs on this album that are absolute masterpieces in my eyes. This is how the album is throughout its first 7 tracks. Then, you reach ‘Corpus Christi Carol’ which feels very cheesy and ... read more
This is an amazing punk album. The debut studio album of this absolute legendary punk band is filled with constant energy. This album is also filled with angry and truly punk lyrics. The band is also able to perfectly mix together silly and goofy lyrics with truly profound messages. Jello’s vocals also just make this album more fun to listen to due to how unconventional it sounds from the perspective of a first-time punk listener. The only flaw with the album is a lot of songs sounding ... read more
This album is an absolute MASTERPIECE and one of the best double albums of all time. Electric Ladyland feels like a utopia throughout its full hour and a half runtime. This album truly solidifies Jimi as one of the greatest rock artists of all time. His guitar playing can both sound absolutely beautiful or absolutely electric and heavy. Electric Ladyland’s sound truly lives up to the name of its genre (psychedelic rock). It feels trippy with all the sounds together and all the effects. ... read more
This album is a hip-hop masterpiece. This album is an experimental one for OutKast. They include influences from 70s funk, psychedelic rock, gospel, and even country. The duo is able to mesh these genres with hip-hop in an amazing way. The lyrics on this album are also high quality. The duo is able to touch on themes such as individuality, their hometown, freedom, and drug addiction in an almost-poetic way. The duo’s chemistry is also amazing on this album despite their differing lyrical ... read more
This album is a metal masterpiece. This album released in 1970 and is seen as one of the most influential heavy metal albums of all times and also one of the first. Once you hit play, you are immediately met with amazing, crushing guitar riffs and then Ozzy comes in with great vocals. The writing on this album is also amazing especially on Hand of Doom. On this album, the band is able to make anti-war anthems to emotional songs showing the effects of drug addiction. Overall, this album is an ... read more
This is a really solid album. For All The Dogs was one of the most anticipated rap albums of this year and he delivered. Drake tries some new sounds on this album which gives a fresh feel while also mixing in the sounds he’s most known for. His flows on this album are solid and he also has good wordplay. The production on this album is very good throughout. The features are also consistently good.

This album sucks. This is metal for the weird and annoying kid in your class with 2019 r/dankmemes humor. This is metal for kids who haven’t found good metal yet. This album is just a corny, bland mess. The only thing making this album listenable is the riffs which aren’t even anything special. They’re just solid enough to not make me wanna blow my brains out. The lyrics on this album are either bland or insanely corny. Corny enough for the band members themselves to not like ... read more
This is a great album by groove and thrash metal pioneers Pantera. Dimebag is an absolute monster on this album with his ferocious and heavy riffs. The basslines and drumming on this album are also very solid. Phil’s vocals while not really hitting the groove metal instrumentals that well, are still a good addition to the album. The lyrics on this album are also angry and ferocious. The album also is able to balance angry bangers with beautiful emotional songs. A big underlying issue with ... read more
