I tend to listen to music when i'm playing videogames. The first time i listened to this album i was playing Dark Souls. No other album gives me goosebumps as often as this one. It never becomes uninteresting, too repetetive or shallow - every moment feels intentional and in its place. This is an experience like no other, and i keep coming back to this album ever so often beacuse no other album is as intriguing, interesting and beautiful as this! As a bonus: Sleep stands among the top five tracks ever produced.

Private music is proof of Deftones lasting relevance and competence even after over 20 years in the industry. The album is consistently good, with standouts, monumental tracks even, such as; infinite source and i think about you all the time. There are no eminent low points, although some tracks are less interesting and captivating than others.
