Wow, something by AJR that doesn't make me want to projectile vomit? That's new, but also it's still AJR 🤬🤬🤢🤢

I was dreading listening to this, but I knew this day would come. All of my past experience with this band was brought to me against my will alongside the Hamilton soundtrack and Imagine Dragons songs that my older siblings would put on the aux cord without realizing it's some of the most corny white people music put out in the last decade. Through gritted teeth I listened ... read more

Uhhhhhh how do I put this lightly?

Not trying to piss in anyone's cereal, I'm glad so many people enjoy this album, but personally, Worlds just doesn't resonate with me as much as I thought it would. This isn't me doing a copypasta comparing this to M83 or Daft Punk or just me being pretentious and snotty, these are simply my genuine feelings that are coming from someone who spent most of his preteens listening to purely dubstep and EDM on the UKF Dubstep youtube channel and Pandora radio ... read more

This album is like getting hit in the face by a bag full of bricks, but in a good way. I really came into this album expecting a Rolo Tomassi type situation where there's only two great songs and the rest just sort of exists, but I was pleasantly surprised by how unrelenting and consistent this album was throughout it's runtime. Mirrors is rarely repetitive and really keeps you on your toes as it chugs along at lightning speed, it's reminiscent of it's predecessors like Converge or DEP but with ... read more

R.A.T.R. - Entry #4:

Filled with a sense of righteous indignation and a hint of optimism, Fugazi really burst onto the post-hardcore scene of the late 80s with this timeless compilation of songs that are still approachable whether or not you're already a fan of the genre. While Fugazi might have not been as topical or visceral as some of their predecessors like Big Black or Hüsker Dü were, the DIY punk ethic remained intact and you can really feel how much more influence 13 Songs had ... read more

R.A.T.R. - Entry #3:

JID in my opinion is honestly one of the more exciting rappers to debut within the past five years (of which there are only a handful), with his sophomore album really working out all of the kinks The Never Story had, while vastly improving on his lyricism and production choices within a year's length. Out of the entire Dreamville roster he's definitely the most technically talented and he gets the cosign from J. Cole with his best verse of all time on Off Deez. Some ... read more

Hiya! I’m trying to compile a community list of albums that people associate with the color red. Do you have an album that really feels red to you?

I'm gonna be extremely mature and suggest "White Is Right" by Pink Guy, with an honourable mention for "I'm With Her" by Le Tigre.
(sorry I couldn't come up with a serious pick, but thanks for asking!)

hey andiov! that’s an interesting idea for a list. i think i’d pick party in the usa by miley cyrus because i mean... i think most people would agree that it’s more impactful than the actual national anthem and i never met someone who doesn’t know the lyrics from top to bottom lol

I noticed the Thom Yorke profile pic so I decided to honor it by suggesting The National Anthem by Radiohead, thank you for asking :3

I use a weighted scale for all my scores, how that works I'm not telling you cause I don't know either
constantly swiveling between shitposting and seriousness, so take what I say with a grain of salt

I guess I'm on RYM now? I've only imported 90s and some 70s albums ratings but if you want to follow me there too: https://rateyourmusic.com/~andiov1
