No hate, just personal preference. I’ve never loved Kurt’s vocals and it always keeps me from getting fully locked in with his records. Aside from that, it’s a pretty solid “EP” that should satisfy anyone who has enjoyed his previous work.
There’s a sweetness to the music Frost Children makes that while not always my particular taste, just kinda works on me. I’ve yet to love any of their records but have enjoyed spending time with all of them.
Honestly not bad but rarely rises too far above just being pleasant background music. Would recommend listening to it within the playlist Andre created on streamers. It works better sprinkled in with classics from Steve Reich, Coltrane, Hiroshi Yoshimura, Yusuf Lateef etc.
Definitely one of the better Country albums of the year. It still has its fair share of mainstream Country nonsense but the good outweighs the bad on this one.
Wasn’t logging when this came out but yea, it’s typical Sufjan. So of course it’s amazing

Hey Andrew, I’m working on my first community list since I recently hit 300 followers, and the question I wanted to base it around is this: what is an album you feel doesn’t get talked about enough. Not something that’s underrated or overrated, but an album that doesn’t get brought into conversations as much as it should. Thanks for your help!
