Black Secret Technology is meticulously crafted, other worldly Jungle. I think where this album hits gold for me is its subtleties and intricacies, those little sounds that just add so much for me really make this album fucking great. And of course all the sexy ass breakbeats.

Starting off id like to give this album some credit where its due, I enjoyed the unconventional production on quite alot of these tracks, but i do struggle to find any meaning behind this album whatsoever, Is there meant to be any meaning at all?? I personally feel like this is just Kanye and Ty in the studio making whatever the fuck they want and in an age where music with no meaning is brushed off artistically I find it quite a ballsy move. I love this album and how introspective it is, there's alot of melancholia laced inside some of these instrumentals, and lyrics for songs like "Roman Candle" are deeply personal, thought provoking and downright depressing, It's a bold move to have your first track depict your violent intent towards what im guessing is a parental figure (father or step father) I enjoyed each tracks guitar and Elliot Smiths Unique style when it comes to playing it, His chord changes are what ... read more

despite the fact the idea of a bunch of short abstract rap songs crammed into an album or EP isnt original whatsoever, and the fact we have seen Sideshow do this in all his prior projects, I still really like this EP as its that pivot point before Sideshow started to branch out a little more genre wise with F.U.N.T.O.Y.
