Do you like Knocked Loose?
Do you want it to sound much more rough and not have SpongeBob on the vocals?
Well here you go. Sick fuckin track.
Hey ADTR, do you know what you're good at? Heavy songs. Do you know what you're not as good at? Pop Rock. Yet you continue to make both. Want a guaranteed hit? Go full metal.
Overall it's fine. The pop rock songs are blemishes on pretty good heavy songs, and overall it's fine.
I'm sorry Dom, I grew up.
There's a lot I want to say about this song but the tl;dr is: Yungblud tries something new but can't get rid of old habits.
First, the length. This does not need to be 9 minutes. This needs to be three songs at about three minutes each named "Hello Heaven, Hello Part 1, 2 and 3" respectively. Because that's what it is. It's three different songs forcibly transitioning into each other. There is no need for it to be 9 minutes ... read more
Actual review now:
It's mid. Half of this album are empty, same sounding instrumentals, the other half is carried by features. Carti himself actually does something every other song. It's pretty whatever. Can't be arsed to say more. It's mid.
Wow, Poppy dropping two awesome albums just a few months apart, well done!
Jokes aside (sort of), this feels like taking Negative Spaces from Poppy, stripping it of *most* electronic-only songs and turning up the heaviness to 11. Courtney's voice is hypnotic, the instrumentals go hard as fuck and the whole record from front to back manages to give you a sense of dread and peace at the same time. Amazing work.
So i guess that's what Architects needed to make their new sound actually sound good - The producer from the other big British metalcore band.
This is their best effort since All Our Gods (Holy Hell is awesome but I slightly prefer AOG). Super heavy tracks with catchy choruses and hard-hitting riffs and breakdowns. But it all ends up sounding kinda same-y up until the very end. I appreciate the House of Protection feature though.
Jane Heard BRAT and said "okay now watch me do it"
Absolute fucking banger. Can't wait for the album.
Kendrick lied. I don't like Drake when he act tough, but I also don't like Drake with the melodies.
A billion times repeated joke aside, this is ass. NOKIA is the only song that I would consider "decent". Otherwise it's straight, unfiltered mid or garbage.
Essentially a collection of songs from Jane's vault put on one album - Some of them are insanely good, like Census Designated B-Sides, some of them are just alright. But overall, I just love the vibe Jane delivers when you give her a guitar.
If I wasn't sick of hearing Wonderwall in any capacity and if the YOUtopia remix went all-out hyperpop instead of Minimalist hyperpop - like, Six Impala instead of Glaive - I'd f with this a lot more. But I guess Wonderwall goes kinda hard and YOUtopia has a cool new second verse? It's fine.
fuck...
i found out about this Jane Remover side project during one of my worst days in a while... and holy crap I almost cried the entire way to my boyfriend's house listening to this on repeat.
it's always something about her specific blend of writing, delivery and instrumentals that gets under my skin, in a good way. I can't wait for the album next year.
I never liked Juice much to begin with, but this is just pissing on his grave for no reason. Fuck cashgrab posthumous albums.
It's a Linkin Park album alright.
They're playing it very safe, emulating sounds from Hybrid Theory and Meteora. Which kinda feels disappoinitng if this is supposed to be "from zero." You know, a fresh start, a new Linkin Park. I understand trying to keep the og fans when there's a new, somewhat controversial vocalist, but this doesn't really feel like a fresh start at all. Just Linkin Park music with a different vocailst. A really good vocalist though.

I'm taking credit for telling Poppy to do heavy stuff in my Zig review.
Jordan Fish's DNA is all over this record and it works with Poppy's voice insanely well. The heavy tracks definitely surpass the more chill, electronic sounds, but it creates a uniquely "Poppy" experience that feels like having Slipknot, BMTH, MCR and *insert electropop artist* on shuffle. Well done.
This is a prank right?
This is AI generated right?
What the actual fuck is with this day? Uzi and Pumperton drop straight ass, but then The Cure come back with their best album to date apparently.
Anyway stream Chromakopia
What... The fuck?
Sorry I'm gonna need to process what the fuck I just heard before rating this. But like, huh?
Edit: you would not believe your eyes
If Uzi dropped EA2
But he did and it sucks ass.
What the hell happened Mr Big Glock Horizontal? Where's that rock album you promised years ago? Can you just do another Collab with BMTH? Fuckin hell...
