This.. this is not even great.. this is more than great, if I could give this a 101 I would, we are so blessed to have this within our world and timeline
Everything from the beat, the samples, the lyrics it's all more than amazing
And that rick Ross verse? Perfection.
I haven't heard anything like this and probably never will again
If I could listen to this for the first time again I would
We truly blessed with this song
This is the Greatest thing I've heard since devil in a new dress
It feels random at first but it gets better and better by each listen
Really really good
(Also RIP to coz Baldwin my goat)
I really love the instrumental, it reminds me of old Zelda games, wish the actual version releases
It's such a shame it's not available on streaming services anymore, it's so underrated
I really really loved this album, probably the greatest out of all of Tally hall's discography, with it's sound and everything makes you feel like you're in a musical really.
Now some songs are not that good but some are really really good ex. Stranded lullaby, DSISM, Murders and more
But sadly with all the allegations of one of the founders of miracle musical, Joe Hawley
We will probably never get another album like this again.
I love how Joe decided to make a hip-hop comedy album, though some songs are outdated like Your Mother Is a Basketball.
The tracklist is a bit inconsistent, I don't get how you can put a song about how you and your band mate got assaulted between a grocery list and a your mom joke
Another bad thing about this is that it's filled with alot of samples, that will DEFINITELY not get the man sued for years and years to come
But overall it's a great album I loved how it doesn't ... read more
I have a love hate relationship with how Tally hall decided to go to the deep, non happy route.
Even though the album has alot of really good songs like cannibal, fate of the stars and more, some of them are forgettable and sometimes not that good
But overall it's a good album if you wanna ignore the sometimes inconsistent songs
Now this album is not bad (as alot of people say), some songs are forgettable though, but I enjoyed alot of the songs, some feel chaotic and happy like Welcome to tally hall and Good day etc. some feel sad and depressing (in a good way sometimes) like Spring and a storm and Hidden in the sand. Would recommend if you want chaotic and fun songs or songs that will give you an existential crisis.
Basically the same as it's twin Etudes I, it's not really good but sometimes it gets good but overall it's bad
Some songs are really really random, I get that it's a piano/instrumental album, but it's really not that good
Some songs are really really my favourite, it feels like something you could calm down and sleep to (in a good way), though it's not the best, it's not the worst either.
