KicK iii follows the same formula as KiCk i, mixing the chaotic with the mellow and serene, making for one hell of a listening experience.
From every hard-hitting banger like 'Incendio' and my personal favorite, 'Señorita' to its more downtempo, ambient moments like the gorgeous outro 'Joya,' KicK iii never sticks to just *one* sound, always keeping you guessing as to what direction it will take next. And while the language barrier may impede some listeners' experience with the album, I was able to grasp the general vibe of the record as an English speaker with an admittedly shoddy grasp of the Spanish language. KicK iii is not just a continuation of the original album because of its sound, taking shape as a piece of queer, trans excellence.
