This album blew me away in so many ways.
My first expectation was that it wouldnt be as good as the previous three albums. I was wrong. The Wall is one of the greatest concept albums of all time. Every SINGLE song is absolutely amazing.
My second expectation was that there was no way disc 2 could be as good as disc 1. Once again I was wrong. Disc 2 captured my imagination and ran with it through the isolation and building up of the wall.
My third expectation, as I was listening through it, was ... read more
With a name like Joy Division they must make really happy music right?
Ok but jokes aside this album is genuinely one of the best albums of the 1970s. It's dark and gloomy and hypnotising and addictive. Every aspect is just perfect: the groove, the lyrics, the way the instruments perfectly complement Curtis' vocals.

This album is insanely addictive and catchy. Also Tame Impala never misses on his album closers
Honourable mentions: One More Hour, Posthumous Forgiveness

Guys... I think there's a bomb in his car.
This is kind of a weird album (in the best way) and its great that it got so popular. Whoever said that modern music was all terrible was 100% wrong
Honourable mentions: Trinidad, Long Island City..., Taxes
Favourite: Cobra
Pretty crazy that 83 year old Paul is still making some bangers. This was a really enjoyable album, and while some of the songs werent perfect, there werent any that i disliked. However, on some tracks the production wasnt that great.
Honourable mentions: Days We Left Behind, Home to Us
Favourite: As You Lie There
The fact that this has a 69 critic score because rolling stone decided to give this MASTERPIECE a 40 is wild to me
Favourite: Dogs
Echoes is a perfect song
Edit: the rest of this album is great too, especially One of These Days
Another interesting project from Lila Cameron. I think some of the songs here were a bit weaker than those on give me some grace, but still overall good.
Favourite: dollarless in the ditch
This album’s really grown on me. When i first listened to it i thought it was pretty good, but not an album i would return to often and oh my god i was wrong. This album is so unique, so interesting, and so incredible.
Favourite: The Peace
there are some good moments on here, such as i love you, bury a friend and when the party's over, but overall i think its probably her worst project
Phoebe Bridger's songwriting is simply incredible
Honourable mentions: Moon Song, Kyoto, Punisher, Chinese Satellite, Saviour Complex
Favourite: I Know the End
Pink Floyd's magnum opus, and the greatest art rock album of all time
Favourite: Have A Cigar
A pretty good, interesting album.
Favourites: the debt i owe, phone a friend, honey pie
