Pinned Review

Melanie Martinez - Cry Baby
I need to be completely open with all of you. This is gonna be a tough review. I cried hearing this in the brad stream, and eventually I left because this is a difficult album to bear. I knew I had to make something in some type of retaliation, not against the fans, but for my own sake. I need closure from this piece of media, because it stings me, it really does. Whilst I do not feel comfortable disclosing all of my past here on a goddamn music forum, I might refer to things that have happened ... read more

Waterbolk - Waterbolk.II
Benedict - You Can Tell Me Nothing That I Should
I reconnected to this. It's a strange record, generally, but it is artfully crafted. The programmed drums with the warmth of the piano and the broken voice with the harshness that comes with a dutch accent. It's remarkable how this project flows, it has quite unsettling lyrics combined with odd musical choices, but it's really nice. The only problem that I have with this is the monotony of the record, and it bores over time. Beautiful album, needs diversity!
Lee Fields - Sentimental Fool
Lee Fields brings such a good soulful record with this one, it's absolutely stunning. With some clever lines on it, such as on Two Jobs, where he continuously says "I'm working two jobs, getting paid for one" at the end of the chorus. We first don't really get that line, until the later choruses where he sings "I'm working two jobs, and one of them is you". Very satisfied with the lyrics, I think the instrumentation, especially the vintage organ, really sets the tone of the ... read more
King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard - PetroDragonic Apocalypse; or, Dawn of Eternal Night: An Annihilation of Planet Earth and the Beginning of Merciless Damnation
So for a while now, I have been hoping that Infest The Rats Nest would become the new classic in the metal-community, and I feel like pentadragonipeepeepoopoodiztitleiswaytoolong is continuing the trend. I’m very conscious of the environment, studying biology, and the gizzboys are really doing well on every front. They are what the right would call woke. And they ARE woke. They cancelled a festival because a band that had allegations against them was also playing, they produce their own ... read more
Dr. John - Dr. John (Live in Tokyo, Japan)
Dr. John is iconic in his own right, with this live-album being a prime example of how good he really is. The album opens beautifully, and overall songs are performed with a charm that makes the album really infectious. What I wanna focus in on however, is Walk On Guilded Splinters (extended version). It opens on the piano, a glistening one at that, that draws the listener in, filling the atmosphere with heavenly sounds. We float along with this opening so blissfully, it’s fantastic. THEN ... read more

Hello! First of all, I would like to thank you for checking out my single, I reworked the song as much as I could based on your advice, and I think it's better than it was!
I would like to release an EP (which includes the single as well), and if it's not a problem, I would like to ask for some advice on how to improve on it and see if it's better than it was.
Thank you in advance, and I hope you enjoy!
Hello! I've just released a single (which is my third song ever), and I would appreciate it if you would check it out!
It's a short shoegaze instrumental, and my goal was to capture a strong feeling with it!
