Ocean Eyes is the undeniable jewel of Eilish's debut EP and Shamir's rendition is actually rather nice. The guitars give the song a lot of grit but it still maintains its sweetness thanks to Shamir's soothing vocal lines. Makes me think they would make a great song together (in a parallel universe).

very cute song but the autotune is a bit overkill (1975 and charli both love autotune so its not surprising)

Most songs have solid foundational elements but almost all of them fizzle out. The instrumentation feels to rehearsed and the vocals far too one note. The handful of highlights here are the ones where the vocalist is singing more melodically, with more stripped back instrumentation, such as Free from Gravity and Asking for More.

Otherwise all I'm getting from this is what sounds like Born Under Saturn B-Sides paired with some drab "electronica" (wow I can't remember the last time I ... read more

I also don't think it's fair to mark this record down for not having faster/more varied ... read more

Let me know when/if you drop an AOTY list! I’d love to look through what albums you, and others, enjoyed the most this year. If you already posted one then I’ll give it a look ASAP.

I plan on dropping mine at the very end of the year (both EPOTY and (LP)AOTY lists) and would prefer any feedback on them!

Supp! I'm doing a challenge at the moment, the "out of my comfort-zone challenge". This is a challenge where I need to listen projects, I normally wouldn't listen too. After some listen I need to state my opinions in a review. If you would suggest an album to me, it would be great! As long as they aren't metal, hip hop or rap! (experimental/abstract hip hop, weird rap is allowed though)
