REDUX REVIEW
ORIGINAL SCORE:95

When I first reviewed this album I absolutely loved it. Now I love it even more each and every listen. The late 70s, the beginning of synthpop and pretty much modern electronic music in general. “Tokyo,Tokyo” and “T-E-C-H-N-O-P-O-L-I-S” are all you need to describe the opening track, as it feels to me like the essence of electronic music. Fits the tone of the game perfectly yet manages to be listened to just as much as some of my favorite non-soundtrack albums so I feel the need to give it a 10 considering it’s my all time favorite game soundtrack

I was gonna do a proper in depth review for this but it doesn’t deserve it so I’m just gonna think of everything possible for why I hate this album

The way I do reviews of game soundtracks is I split it into two, I do one part that is the way the soundtrack implements into ... read more

I don’t understand why or how this album got and still to this day gets so overlooked. I’ve always seen Grover Washington Jr. as a saxophone legend and it seems as though others feel the same way. So why does a smooth jazz album featuring one of the most well known vocal jazz songs of all time “Just The Two Of Us” featuring Bill Withers almost always get overlooked, I have no clue. It is a great album though. The saxophone playing on here always takes a melodious ... read more
