I can’t help but hear Kendrick throughout the album.
I don’t want to hear about the fact they are cousins and so of course he’s gonna take inspiration from him. This is true, but there comes a point where it just starts sounding like a knock off product of the original. Even if certain lyrical content IS good I cannot bring myself to enjoy it as much with the feeling in the back of my mind that the verse could just be mostly written by Kendrick.

As someone that lost my best friend last year this album resonates with me on a super deep level and I completely understand the stylistic choices as well as the meaning behind many of Ritchie’s verses. Love it.
It’s really not bad as an overall album, there’s just not many individual songs I see myself going back to anytime soon.
He still got it. This album is the exact reason I don’t listen to leaks before a release. I’ve seen too many fans feel the album is a disappointment because their favorite songs didn’t make the cut and/or songs sounding different than the leaks. This BRAVADO + INTiMO truly exceeded expectations for me.
No bad tracks, extremely solid all throughout. I ended up enjoying the non-singles even more on this album. The intro and outro remind me of some vintage J Dilla which felt like a breath of fresh air, great way to give structure to the album along with the steady pacing and smooth transitions. Miles Trumpet is amazing, the chorus puts you in a trance in the best way possible. When lyrics resonate with me it really makes a song that ... read more
