I feel I struggled to enjoy this album on earlier listens because of my perceptions of the artists, rather than the quality of the work. The guerrilla persona’s felt corny, and over the top, and the rapping felt reminiscent of the angry white rapper stereotype which once sounded like a clockwork orange stimulus rather than music. I don’t take the project as seriously now and appreciate unique lyrical space JMT fill, especially Vinnie who blows my mind as frequently as waves that roll accross sandy beaches. Stoupe’s production is also far too good for one to not enjoy the project
