the amount of anger this album brings to my soul is like no other. I hate this album more than anything in this world. I hate every minute of this album. I hate every second of this album. I hate every millisecond of this album. I hate every nanosecond of this album. I hate this albums existence. I hate the fact someone in the world has this war crime as their favourite album and I hate the fact that it was even recorded. every single second of this album makes me angry. they wouldn't even ... read more
what a complete disappointment. I really like this band but I cannot help but feel this album is extremely stale and generic especially considering how good this band CAN write songs. a lot of this album is just standard djent chugs with no direction and pointless electronic parts that add nothing to the song. this band can use electronic moments in songs so well all you need to do is listen to their last couple albums and you'll see how much better its done there. they dont compliment the ... read more
this is a very very hard album for me to listen to as this band is one of my mums favourite ever bands and she passed away last month. so going back to this album was always going to be incredibly hard for me. my mum loved the cure. I remember her telling me we would see them when they came to Australia but we never got to see them. enough about the backstory, this album is absolutely incredible. genuinely a euphoric listen. everything about this album is incredible
wow what a huge disappointment. I liked the title track when i first listened to it when it came out but the rest of the album just feels... empty? I dont know. it doesnt feel like an album that was fun and enjoyable to make. it just feels like an album that was made for the sake of it. it feels soulless. it has no character, it has no charm. it just exists for the sake of existing
cant wait to see people over react to that shitty ass breakdown
IsraelGPT generate me a Technical Death Metal band.
*BZZ BZZ BZZ BZZ*
I have made a band called Archspire
Morningrise is the 2nd album by the legendary band Opeth. it features a blend of Progressive Metal, Melodic Black and Melodic Death Metal. The band look to expand on what they did on their debut on here by adding longer songs and more experimental songwriting. Seen with songs such as To Bid You Farewell and my personal favourite Opeth song, Black Rose Immortal. The bands use of acoustic melodies on here work so incredibly well with the yearning sound of this album. This whole album just ... read more
undoubtedly one of my favourite albums ever. the Symphonic elements on this album are absolutely phenomenonal and it makes you feel like a dark wizard. it all sounds so epic and grand
definitely the bands worst album. but that doesnt make it bad. it still manages to keep the same unique agalloch sound but i cant help but feel like theres just something missing. when I listen to agalloch, I always feel the emotion. I dont feel it on here and I think thats why it doesn't resonate with me as much as their albums before it. I still absolutely enjoy this album but I definitely come back to it the least out of all their albums.
it was always going to be hard following up The Mantle but the band did in the best way possible. this album manages to keep the atmosphere from The Mantle and expand upon it by adding better production. The sorrowful clean singing paired with the growls on this album are magical
dear ronnie radke, 15 years ago i was in a car accident which left me paralysed from the waste down. unable to walk. but today, my mum decided to play your music and for the first time in 15 years, I finally stood up to turn that garbage off
an album so full of magic that is so rewarding to listen to. every minute of this album feels like you're on another planet. its so hauntingly beautiful. the soft clean vocals and the soft spacey instrumentals make this album go together like no other.
one of the most important bands and albums in my music journey. while yes, this album is corny and dramatic and all that, I do not care. this album is incredibly special to me. the production on this album always amazes me with how big and epic everything sounds. they really nailed the theatrical sound on this album. its incredible
one of my favourite albums ever. the aggression and the riffs on here are so vicious and primal
its hard seeing one of your favourite bands release an album as disappointing as this. its not a bad album at all. it just lacks the same song writing and energy as their previous albums
This album is my favourite album of all time. no other album speaks to me as much as this album.
no other album makes me feel the way this one does. every single second on this album makes me feel like im in a cold wintery forest with snow falling.
the emotional connection I have to this album is like no other. it is my album. when I listen to this album, I feel safe. I feel calm and relaxed. it feels like this album was specifically made for me. and the fact it came out 3 days after I was ... read more
definitely dont like it as much on relisten but its still enjoyable. I like the clean melodies mixed with the gutturals it gives it a nice uniqueness
