There's Aphex twin, Tim Hecker, C418, then about 15 floors down is Jo Johnson. This LP lacks personality and vision almost the whole time. Not much soundscape element put into these tracks nor liveliness. Not much else to say. However I did slightly enjoy the opening track and Words came after music a bit.
The album has an atmosphere that makes you feel like you're surrounded by nature. Some tracks fall short of having any refreshing element that makes the experience worthwhile and overall feels one dimensional. While the other half of tracks completely nails its mission.

Daniel Kiranos Brings us yet another folk tale album full of spook, which is dullened by his cringeworthy lyrics and over the top showman-like tracks.

Friko delivers their debut LP with each track delivering great build up and lots of sporadic energy! Hopeful to see a more lengthy, in-depth album from these guys.

An incohesive experience that fails to entertain me most of the time.

Kirin drives into 2024 with this otherworldly synthpop record. I love the balance between electronic and pop he has going (Aphex twin gettin a run for their money), it feels like he’s walking on this thin line between genres and it works in his favor most of the time. Not to mention his very distinct 80s pop sounding voice, ... read more
