One of the most nihilistic albums ever.
This album is rooted in a deep hatred for the human race and all the harm it has done, addressing many social issues such as racism, the harmful effects of capitalism, and corruption—much like many punk albums do. However, there’s something about the way these themes are attacked here that feels especially raw. Lines like “I know you don’t care except for money and power,” “Ways to survive don’t involve killing your own kind,” and “The industry fucks nature like some kind of whore” are some nice quotables. The production is great and hard-hitting, fitting perfectly for a sludge metal album. The bass lines are solid, and I love the vocals, but the lyricism is really where this album shines. It’s definitely a personal favorite punk/sludge metal album.
