I think everyone is being a little hard on Drake here, to be honest. This is who he is, who he has always been. This is Drake doing Drake things, entering the denouement of a dominant career -- find me one rapper who remains at the top of their game for more than 5 albums? It would have been surprising for Drake to come through with something new & interesting this late in the game, with this his 6th studio LP (not to mention his 3 EPs & 6 mixtapes) in 13 years.

Lyrically, he is probably at his worst (was he ever THAT great, honestly?), and he maybe hits an all-time low with the pandering & indulgent "Way 2 Sexy" (at least it has a ridiculous video to boot). But in spite of all that, CLB remains a very listenable overstuffed piece of music.

Lacks the big hits of previous entries, but further cements Drake as one of the most prolific creator of the easiest listening hip-hop on the planet.

Best tracks: "You Only Live Twice", "Fountains", "Champagne Poetry"
Worst tracks: "Way 2 Sexy", "Knife Talk", "No Friends In The Industry"
