Truthfully, I can’t praise this record as much as I once did. Not for any reason pertaining to quality, but because I just can’t find as much catharsis as I once did in this album. It will always have a place in my life much like A Moon Shaped Pool. However, I realize now that my rating was more derivative of my emotional experiences with this record rather than a genuine critique of the material itself. Then again, the material is still quite alluring and ground-breaking.
