I found this while searching for some of the earliest metal stuff, and it's amazing. Love vocals and riffs.
One of the most overhated and overrated albums of all time, but in the end, this shit still sounds great. The idea that they 'betrayed' indie and rock is just dumb—they can do whatever they want.
Holy shit, this is fantastic—and from 1970?! WOW. Phenomenal guitar riffs, fascinating progressions. Easily one of the best early prog albums. It definitely needs remastering though.

At its peaks, it's amazing (2;3;6 songs are perfect), but the rest is mid or even worse.

Pretty good album; Gilmour's guitar is still unmatched, and Romany's vocals are perfect. However, the folkish tracks (like 'A Single Spark') don't work for me, as David's vocals don't deliver there.
