The A Side is perfect, the B Side is trash. There’s still enough there to give this a 70, though.
Bowlahoola is definitely a step down from its predecessor, 1000 Books, but that's also sort of like complaining that Let It Be isn't quite so great as Abbey Road; of course it isn't, they released one of the best albums ever just last year! But that makes Bowlahoola no less excellent.

Not a huge Springsteen fan, but this song is pretty good, actually, and I'm not just saying that because I agree with his politics.
I'm not sure what this album is even supposed to be, and usually I like that in music, but not so much this time. Because this isn't music. It's noises. Which music is, but music is noises that sound nice. Unless you're listening to Corey Feldman, then it's noises that are meant to sound nice, but really, really don't.
