This album is just as good as Thriller, sometimes better, depending on the day. Everything on this album sounds so diverse and extraordinary. From the ballads to the hits, it’s all incredible, and just as consistent as Thriller.
After hearing her SNL live performance, I'm very impressed. Her songwriting is good, but nothing too crazy. But her singing is stellar, especially on "Loud." Her voice sounds like she's ACTUALLY trying compared to other artists today, and that's what separates her for me. She has this unique sound mix between the 90s and 2010s, and it's brilliant. Holy crap. This album REALLY blew me away. I liked Dave from the "Stop Giving Me Advice" song, but this made him my favorite UK rapper. His lyricism is SO good, especially the line: "I prayed for new shoes and I used them to walk away from You." So many lines that made my jaw drop, just like that. Truly phenomenal, definitely another highlight for 2025.
I could genuinely go on for days about how much I love this album. The production is so smooth, silky, and ethereal. I absolutely love each song, and it’s so memorable that I can recall every track just by looking at the title. I know all the songs front to back—every single lyric—mostly because there aren’t that many songs on the album, but still, they’re just that amazing.
