I wish it were all in french to at least mask its too-on-the-noise social commentary. With that said, Topical Dancer has some very creative sonic ideas.
Up there with the greatest two consecutive songs on any project. These are at least as good as the last two tracks on FJM's "Pure Comedy."
A definite grower. I am, unlike some. still in love with what Antonoff contributes. Lorde is 3/3 (4/4 if you count "The Love Club") as far as I'm concerned. Long live the Lorde hippie era.
The mixtape is not bad, but not great, either. It has a bit too much vocal processing, which has the unfortunate effect of washing away any sense of sincerity.
