Mechina - Cenotaph

Another New Years Day with another underwhelming Mechina album. I just think these albums have started to become too formulaic, where I'm not sure I would even know this was a different record than the last few. It's just difficult, because there is nothing here that is bad. It's a really solid listen with cool sci-fi themes and production and extremely fitting vocals from Melrose (even if I super miss the death vocals being front and center). The Grand Hunt is a definite highlight, but I don't see myself going back to this often.
