i know this album is much lower rated compared to the others but honestly i think it just demands a different type of listening. it took me a long time to realize that because I neglected this one for so long. but personally, I can listen to just about any tool album while working, driving, playing video games, etc, but for this one, I need to be laying down with my eyes closed and actually taking everything in.

really solid. i love the mix of heaviness with the beautiful shoegaze and atmospheric parts. i had heard some loathe songs before but never a full album and now i totally get all the hype. excited for their new album now

this one is pretty nice. nothing too revolutionary but definitely deserves a listen.

took me a long time to finally get around to this. i was expecting this to be way heavier but its lowkey pretty technical and spacey. definitely has its heavier bits though. the guitar stuff generally isn't too crazy but it stands out a lot in a few places and its super awesome.

ngl i kinda like the intros to most of these songs better than the whole songs themselves. those instrumental parts are so awesome but most of these songs can get a little boring

feels a little front loaded. some songs totally slap though. imo could still be a valid must hear.
