My other weird al ratings are rating them based on being funny parody music that doesn't take itself seriously. Not this one, I genuinely think this is a 10/10 piece of music.
Idk why I actually listened to this, I don't know what I expected. From a musical perspective, it's just shitty horrorcore. Some of the most generic lyrics to come out of the genre, it has none of the fun parts of horrorcore and genuinely tries to he cool/scary. His voice sucks, and while sometimes there's a pretty decent flow or two, there are just as many straight up erbcore flows and a million boring mediocre ones. Last five songs so good it makes you almost forget seven songs of straight mid
House of the dead and cutter in the club are bottom 2 sematary but the other three are pretty good
It takes serious musical talent to make songs this short feel like they drag on so long.
I was not expecting anything from this, imo icp haven't had a truly good song since missing link lost and I was ready to call them washed, but then they absolutely delivered. Best card of the 2nd deck easy, there's even more than one song with a good chorus, that's a monumental task for an icp project
I didn't listen to this but I use woodpecker no. 1 as my morning alarm and it works pretty well so my outlook on this album is generally positive
Bro we need to ban Pharrell from singing that shit was ASS. Really the only bad part of the project though.
