Circa Survive is one of my favorite bands of all time, but this is easily my least favorite album of theirs. It just brings a completely different vibe and energy from their past work. Each song is very good and is just candy to the ear, but every song is so similar, the singing can start to hurt after a while, and the music is so complex/chaotic all throughout to the point where the album as a whole is an exhausting listen. The music is still very good though and well put together

It very funny. Some memes can drag a bit or are just overly edgy, but this thing made me laugh a lot. There are also some legitimately great beats, flows, and singing sprinkled about the whole project

Such a cool project with stellar production and vocals. This duo perfectly recreates the sound of early 2000's mellow rock you'd find on myspace pages, music you'd hear in frutiger aero compilations, and music that could appear in an early 2000's vampire drama movie. One of the biggest disappointments for me in the last few years. I have so many issues with this album.
Firstly, the lyrics are the ultimate letdown. With the current state of the world, you'd expect Rise Against of all bands to provide bold and thoughtful lyrics, but the lyrics found on this project play it safer than any album. Kind of has the vibe of a cigarette bud on a concrete sidewalk outside of a small town strip club, but this is legitimately a pretty good butt-rock album. This project has insane production, is very fun, and is very unique. Not many songs stick out that much because of their lengths and similar sounds, but this offers such a unique listening experience. It's a good EP, but some sounds hurt the ears, you cannot understand a single lyric, and the volume can be inconsistent all-throughout

One of the best game soundtracks ever and has become a huge part of the game's identity as a whole over the years. The songs here are downright gorgeous and C418 had no reason to go this hard for the silly pixel block game

This is a unique, and good album, but it's not quite for me. It is basically just one 28-minute-long song. My main issue is that there are not enough breaks from the straight jammin'. The jammin' sounds good, but the individual songs have no structure or identity and it can get exhausting to listen to. This album impressed the hell out of me. I went into it expecting a pretty meh little pop punk record to keep my brain entertained while drawing, but it's actually such a solid album with impressive vocals, catchy hooks, and great production. It's a shame this album kind of slipped under the radar, because this is great music
