This concise offering by Midland sees the trio lean more heavily into the soft Neotraditional country sound they explored on 2021's The Sonic Ranch, originally recorded in 2014 when the band was first formed. Personally, I believe their strengths lie in this slower, mid-tempo style, rather than in their country rock-infused efforts on Let It Roll.

Missed the mark for me. Started out well but then began to grate on me by the midway mark onwards.
