This album has some incredible ambition backing it. The kid who did all of this really poured their heart out. BUT... I think a lot of it is grating and annoying. Many moments came across like eating a bowl of nails, and I just don't like that experience. It was borderline painful to sit through. The times where it isn't like that sometimes just feel really stock and in the background. Not a big fan, but still enjoyed it overall

Can't agree more

I Strongly disagree but i cant understand where this is coming from especially since even if its one of my 10s theres just days in wich i just dont have the same feeling for it but when it hits holy god do i love it still good review.

Aw man I respect the opinion but damn I really disagree. I was completely pulled in as soon as the first guitars on Beautiful World hit, this album is basically all I could ask for in music.

Yeah shoegaze sounds really grating to me also, tha kinda fuzzy reverb gives me headaches and gets overbearing really fast
I had the same issue with sunbather and ceres and calypso even though i liked the albums overall

Went and listened to this after seeing that you were reacting to it on stream, and yeah, the production and vocals are pretty rough. But there's enough good songwriting ideas and interesting tones for me to personally see past that
