billy woods is seriously one of the best writers in hip hop today. he never lets a single bar go to waste they all have a purpose

Sometimes I feel he's way too abstract, trying to pull a MF DOOM, but at times sounding way too loose and disconnect, however the beats are so out of pocket and are some of the freshest on the abstract Hip Hop / Plugg music scene, and his feats never feel filler. So yes, it isn't overhyped, altho i feel it may get a tad bit too much praise tbh
