The Heart Part 5 set extremely high expectations, but once you get settled into this project, it's a great continuation of Kendrick's growth as an artist, and a Mortal Man.
Edit (85 -> 91): Damn was a strong experience, but I can’t say I really loved any individual moments outside of the record that much. This album however is a display of Kendrick’s most vulnerable sides, as ugly as that can be, and it leaves about as much of an impression as his classics. This album is a grower, and I think it will be respected more the further time passes

I'm surprised you scored Rich Spirit so high. His energy is one dimensional the whole time and the beat would have been generic even 5 years ago

We Cry Together is a fucking masterpiece with great ideas and execution, while also bringing some funny bars. 10/10 track.

First listen I loved it but thought there weren’t really any hits or songs that stood on their own too well but I totally disagree with that sentiment now. I like Die Hard and Worldwide Steppers a lot more than you but I agree with most everything else

Die Hard the best song on the album imo and I don't even think that it's a good song. Watching your first reaction and seeing this score...songs you were iffy about now have insanely high scores lmao.

You really gave the song where he constantly misgenders and deadnames his trans relatives and spams the homophobic slur a 99/100?! lmaoooooooooo that one's a 0/100 for me for obvious reasons (I'm a trans woman) Die Hard's kinda catchy. Most radio friendly song on the album(s) 100%.

I hate when people say "you forced yourself to like the album", because it's literally the opposite: they listen to the album once, decide it's bad and never come back to it
