One of the most depressing albums I’ve ever listened to. Why did people want me to react to something like this?

Interesting. It's definitely sad, but I'd say there's a bit of light even in the darkes spots. I'd say some of your favorites are darker, like Soundtracks for the blind and Deathconsciousness. That said, I would really like you to react to The Downward spiral by Nine inch nails. That one is REALLY dark and depressing, but I also think it's really up your style.

I don’t see it as depressing because it wants to be edgy (like most indie albums from the 2000s), but depressing because it’s reflecting how 9/11 effected the band and their hometown.

This is maybe depressing but just a spark of light in it. Similar to Ok Computer, which I thought this had the vibe of it.
