The beats on this album are great. They sound certified fresh. That isn’t the issue.
I’ve been impressed by Amine’s ability to evolve and avoid becoming a one hit wonder despite how gimmicky his hit song was. The guy has amassed a strong cult fan base. I’ve even enjoyed a handful of the stuff he has come out with
I’ll keep it simple. He should have given this album his all. The hooks suck. The rhymes are boring. The project is boring. Amine gives so many moments on this album the bare minimum while praising the duo as some sort of power couple.
The album is mid as shit. As someone who has been cheering Amine on, this is a step in a concerningly dull direction for him.
The only interesting thing about this project are the bright samples in the beats.

I had a lot of fun listening to this project but it was underwhelming to me based on the hype I had placed on it prior to release.

Honestly I was severely dissapointed as a Kaytranada enjoyer :/, the Production just doesn't feel like the usual him at all

Yea I feel you regarding Amine not doing his best here. It didn't hurt my overall enjoyment much (77/100 here), but he should've done a better job.
